What Is SEO?


SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is the process of increasing the visibility of a web page in search results. SEO helps search engines to determine your web sites relevance to a targeted keyword or keyword phrase.

How SEO works?
Major Search engines such as Google and Bing rely on web servers sending queries to index servers. Inside these index servers is content, a bit like in the back of a book where it lists the number of pages containing words which match search query.

This query travels to the document servers which retrieve stored documents and generate snippets to describe each search result. In real time, it takes a fraction of a second to return these results to the user.

Why website need SEO?
Most of the web traffic is driven by the major search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo. After that social media and other types of element come that generate visits to your site. If you want targeted audience to your site than SEO is must.

If your web site cannot be found by search engines or your content cannot be put into their databases, you miss out on incredible opportunities available to websites provided via search.

The major engines like Google, are always working towards improving their algorithm to crawl the web pages more deeply and return better results to the users. The right SEO method can get you thousands of visitors and attention, the wrong moves can put your site deep in the search results where visibility is minimal. The Internet is becoming increasingly competitive, and those who perform SEO will have a decided advantage in visitors and customers.
